Fenofibrate is a medicine from fibrate class. It is used to treat high cholesterol levels and high triglycerides (a type of bad cholesterol). High cholesterol and triglyceride levels lead to clogging of arteries, thus increasing the risk of heart diseases.
Atorvastatin is used along with a proper diet to help lower “bad” cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise “good” cholesterol
